Did you register for ORCID?
We would like to encourage NDT and CKJ authors to register for and submit their ORCID IDs along with their papers. By registering for an ORCID ID, authors can be sure that their work will be properly acknowledged and referenced, and made easily discoverable. An author’s ID will be visible on each paper they have written, allowing readers to click through to see the author’s full research history and publication list, which will update automatically once a new paper is published. The sign up process takes less than a minute and only needs to be done once.

ERA-EDTA cares
ERA-EDTA cares

The ERA-EDTA values the comments that congress delegates have submitted via the post congress feedback questionnaire. The Association is always looking for new ways to improve services, learning and networking opportunities. For this reason, in the upcoming e-newsletters, we would like to address some of the issues that matter to you.

More female doctors and professors as invited speakers and more talented young speakers.

The ERA-EDTA is committed to involving more young professionals, including more women. Further to the ERA-EDTA Council’s determination to create more opportunities, regulations and initiatives have been put in place to facilitate the participation of both young and female professionals at an educational and scientific level. The Young Nephrologists’ Platform, chaired by the young female Doctor Kate Stevens, significantly contributed to the creation of the scientific programme at the 55th ERA-EDTA Congress, by organising a very successful ‘Hands-on-course’ on Vascular Access as well as selecting valuable young speakers covering hot topics in nephrology.
