European survey on the communication of long-term risks to potential living kidney donors

Living kidney donation is the best available treatment for end-stage renal disease. The evaluation of living donors is standardized and quite similar across Europe. However, there is no consensus about how to inform those who are considering living kidney donation about potential long-term risks.

In the current survey, we wish to ask transplant professionals from all over Europe about how they disclose these risks to those who are considering living kidney donation.

All transplant professionals who are involved in the evaluation of those considering donating a kidney are eligible for this survey.

Hopefully, the results of this survey will help us create a recommendation for how to inform potential living donors.

Thanks in advance for your participation!
