Identifying and treating chronic kidneys disease (CKD) at the earliest stage possible is essential.
Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) is the global organization developing and implementing evidence based clinical practice guidelines in kidney disease.
KDIGO guidelines focus on topics related to the prevention or management of individuals with kidney diseases. Additional resources are complementing the guidelines such as presentations, explanatory videos and webinars as well as translations of the guidelines.
As few as 10% of adults with stage 3 CKD are diagnosed. By identifying patients and intervening early, you can help slow the progression of kidney failure, reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, and help your patients live a longer, dialysis-freelife.
Please join the upcoming educational webcast Diagnosing and Improving Outcomes in CKD: The Pressure Is On, organized by AstraZeneca and endorsed by ERA. The webcast will provide an opportunity to hear leading experts discuss the benefits of diagnosing CKD early and recent recommendations about how to use different diagnostic instruments to improve patient evaluation and management.
