Members receive all benefits, free of charge, including online access to NDT – Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation.
It is exclusively reserved for Members who are ≤28 years of age (from 18 up to 28 years of age).
When applying for a student membership, new Members are required to upload a scanned copy of an official document where the birth date is clearly marked and a scanned copy of their student declaration book.
As a student, you automatically become a Young Nephrologists’ Platform member.
Student membership ends at the end of the 28th year of age.
ERA is inclusive to all! If you don’t see your category, you can write to the ERA Membership Office (membership@era-online.org) and we will find the right membership type for you!
Important notes:
- Once payment of the membership fee has been processed, there cannot be any reimbursement.
- Membership follows the calendar year, January – December, and must be renewed on a yearly basis.
- We accept bank transfers and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard only, exclusively submitted using the online payment system) as payment methods. Cash is only accepted at the ERA membership desk during the ERA Congresses.

Full Members
Full membership is open to scientific workers qualified in areas relevant to the Objects and living and working (and thus having their main residency) in Europe and adjacent countries (defined as the countries bordering Europe, the Ural Mountains being the natural border between Europe and Asia and countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea).
Associate Members
Associate membership is open to scientific workers qualified in areas relevant to the Objects who are not eligible for full membership.
