ERA non-financial support for third-party initiatives
Regulations
ERA can grant “non-financial” support (e.g. in the form of an official letter signed by the President) to initiatives of third parties, provided that they comply with the procedure described below, based on the following minimum requirements:
- The project or proposal must be scientifically valuable or educationally significant, and deal with kidney or related topics
- It must be submitted by an ERA member
- Due visibility must be given to ERA if the support is granted
- Still, if the support is granted, ERA will grant the project visibility in a dedicated area of its website
- Non-Financial Support may be granted directly by the ERA President, provided that the initiative aligns with ERA’s mission and values, has scientific or educational relevance, and ensures appropriate visibility for ERA
- More complex cases, or those involving company participation or potential conflicts of interest, will be reviewed by the Ex-Officio Officers or submitted to the Council for final approval
- The following form needs to be filled in in order to receive this non-financial support. Applications must be submitted in English; however, the event/course materials themselves may be provided in other languages. Requests submitted in any other language will not be considered
- Papers written by non-ERA bodies cannot receive ERA non-financial support/endorsement
