The ERA short-term fellowship is an exceptional opportunity for early-career nephrologists to advance their knowledge and skills in both general nephrology and specialized fields, including glomerular or genetic kidney diseases and other related areas. I feel truly grateful to have been given this chance through the programme.

Yes, I believe it is an important achievement that should be included in a professional CV. Beyond the formal recognition, the fellowship provides valuable international experience.

The fellowship has had a significant impact on my education and work. I was entrusted to share my knowledge of translational and precision medicine essentials with colleagues and young doctors. The programme inspired and motivated me to continue both study and research, and I will undoubtedly try to apply some of the clinical approaches and practical insights I observed during the fellowship to my own practice.

During the fellowship, I observed work in the outpatient clinic, attended clinical-pathological conferences and educational meetings, and was involved in international clinical trials of novel targeted therapies not yet available in my country, which strengthened my expertise and understanding of clinical research. I also gained practical laboratory experience, all of which broadened my knowledge and perspective in nephrology.
