ERA Guidance
About ERA Guidance
ERA actively engages in collaborations with other professional societies to develop comprehensive clinical guidelines. By combining expertise across disciplines, these partnerships ensure that recommendations are evidence-based, practical, and aligned with the latest advances in nephrology. Such joint efforts not only harmonize standards of care internationally but also foster innovation and improve patient outcomes.
Collaborate with ERA
Societies interested in co-developing guidelines with ERA are warmly encouraged to reach out and explore collaborative opportunities.

KDIGO and ERA agreement
The renewed agreement between KDIGO and ERA, signed during the 2025 ERA Congress in Vienna, reinforces the strong and ongoing collaboration between the two organizations.
This partnership continues to focus on shared goals in education, the development of clinical guidelines, and their broad dissemination. It encompasses joint initiatives such as the creation of educational programs, translation of key materials, and the publication of ERA commentaries on KDIGO guidelines in ERA journals.
The overarching aim is to enhance the implementation of clinical guidelines across the nephrology community and to promote deeper scientific collaboration between the societies.
