About ERA Science

The ERA Science Meetings are a new initiative from the ERA Council to organize topic-focused meetings intended to address very important topics in the field of nephrology. The meetings will bring together key experts and opinion leaders as well as stakeholders in a particular subjects for an in-depth discussion on new developments and highly impactful new research. The goal is to create/generate concrete outcomes and potential white papers and calls to action in the name of ERA.

What's the aim of ERA Science Meeting?

First Edition

The first edition will be organized on November 27-28, 2025, in Barcelona, Spain and will focus on precision medicine in genetic kidney diseases. As such the meeting will be co-organized by ERA Council, the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) and together with the ERA’s Genes & Kidney Working Group. 

Please note that attendance to the ERA Science Meeting is by invitation only.
