How did you get involved with YNP and become a National Representative?

The previous chair of the YNP, Orsolya Cseprekál is one of my best colleagues in Hungary, who was also our National Representative before me. She encouraged me to get involved in more activities with ERA and YNP.

What are your main responsibilities as a YNP Representative in your country?

I would like to connect more young colleagues with ERA through personal discussions and sharing the ERA-YNP news with them via social media platforms and emails. In my close work environment, I help my younger colleagues to visit the annual ERA Congresses and other ERA supported educational activities.

What have been the main personal rewards or takeaways from your role as a National Representative?

Through ERA-YNP I had the opportunity to get to know many colleagues and talk with them about the differences and similarities of practicing nephrology as young physicians or researchers in our countries.

How has this experience contributed to your professional growth or development?

These experiences can help to improve our practice and also appreciate what we have in our home country.
