Presentation upload
All speakers and presenting authors are kindly invited to upload their presentation for the 63rd ERA Congress to an ERA protected server starting from April 29, 2026. This is mandatory to allow us to perform technical checks in advance and ensure a smooth presentation or display during the Congress.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- There will be no speakers’ room on site. All presentations must be uploaded in advance through the platform.
- The use of the official ERA26 template is compulsory. Any presentation that does not follow the template guidelines may be subject to action by the organizers.
- It is strictly prohibited to include industry logos in your presentation. This restriction is enforced for compliance and regulatory reasons.
How to upload your presentation
Invited speaker and Free communication
All speakers are required to be physically present on-site in Glasgow.
Only Microsoft PowerPoint presentations in .pptx format will be accepted.
Please do not upload PowerPoint Show files (.ppsx).
From April 29, 2026, you will be able to upload your presentation to the Congress platform.
Please ensure that your presentation is uploaded by May 24, 2026.
This deadline is mandatory to allow sufficient time for technical checks and to guarantee a smooth delivery during the Congress, as well as to give session Chairs the opportunity to review the slides in advance and adequately prepare for their sessions.
After this date, uploads via My ERA will no longer be possible.
If you still wish to upload your presentation, you must send it by email to program@era-online.org.
Please note that this deadline does not apply to Focussed Orals or E-Posters, as their upload timelines differ, and we kindly ask you to refer to the relevant information for these presentation types on this webpage.
Further details will be communicated to speakers via email.
Add speaker notes to your slides
When you create a presentation, you can add speaker notes. You can refer to these notes when you present your slide show to an audience.
During your presentation, the speaker notes are visible on your monitor but aren’t visible to the audience.
The Notes pane is a box that appears below each slide. An empty Notes pane will prompt you with text that says, Click to add notes. Type your speaker notes there. If you don’t see the Notes pane or it is completely minimized, click Notes on the task bar across the bottom of the PowerPoint window.
Video tutorial
Find below a short video tutorial on how the speaker notes will work at the Congress.
Focussed Orals and e-posters
Starting from April 29, 2026, presenters will be able to upload their Focussed Oral or e-poster presentations to the Congress platform. Please make sure to upload your presentation by June 2, 2026.
Further details will be communicated to abstract presenting authors via email.
Presentation quality checklist:
- Review your final slides at 100% zoom to ensure all images, graphs, and text display correctly.
- Use high-quality images and graphics. Avoid manually stretching images, as this reduces clarity.
- Include clear labels and headings for each section to enhance understanding.
- The official template can be downloaded below.
